The Charlemont Historical Society is a membership organization open to everyone who is interested in preserving, researching, and maintaining the local history of Charlemont, Massachusetts.

Through its museum, the Society collects, preserves, and displays objects, records and folklore of historic significance beginning with Charlemont’s earliest habitation. The Society also strives to increase interest in local history and traditions through educational programs and publications.
